In Response To The Debunking Article You Found

Darn it, you mean our life’s work has been eviscerated, and my Father and I have been exposed as FRAUDS, CHARLETONS, and QUACKS?!

I guess we’ll just have to fold up this website, pack up, and go home then.

Actually, back in 1986 four California State physicians DID accuse my Father of just these very things which led to the California Medical Board opening an investigation into his practice. It was even mentioned in an article in the LA Times. In 1987 my Father submitted a 50-page Response (a research paper with over 23 pages of cited medical literature) that fully explained the mechanisms behind the original Hubbard method. The Board of Quality Assurance reviewed this paper and concluded that the detox method was sound, so they closed their probe and allowed him to save many thousands more with it. Oh, and then the State of California became one of his largest clients in his Occupational Medicine practice!

Ironically, the article you found is very correct! YOU DON’T SWEAT TOXINS OUT YOUR SWEAT GLANDS!

Healthy bodies handle toxins through the natural detoxification pathways, and sweat glands regulate our body temperatures with watery eccrine sweat.

There, I said it! Are you happy now?!

[Big pHarma just loves when their funded shills put these debunking articles out there!]

So, then, why do we say [know] our Protocol reduces the body burden 3x faster than normal by 30-65% in a 30 day program?

You need to first understand what the article’s author means by toxins. Toxins, by definition, are “an antigenic poison or venom of plant or animal origin, especially one produced by or derived from microorganisms and causing disease when present at low concentration in the body.” Not one mention of heavy metals or synthetic/man-made chemicals!

This is how Google results define toxins:

Notice on the right that “…synthetic toxicants created by artificial processes are thus excluded”!

Most toxins are either water-soluble or are easily converted in the detoxification Phase 1, and are then conjugated with glutathione (marked for elimination in urine or feces) or other mechanisms in Phase 2.

What our livers don’t do well is to convert fat-soluble (lipophilic) man-made chemicals and many heavy metals into water soluble derivatives, so after many rounds of enterohepatic recirculation they’ll wind up sequestering in adipose tissues (including adipose marrow and brain tissues).

Now, I could go on about the mitochondrial dysfunction these “lipophilic xenobiotics” (fat-attracted/soluble heavy metals and synthetic chemicals foreign to the body) cause once fat is contaminated, and the associated diseases, but I want to address the mechanisms at work with our Protocol, instead.

Using niacin, we increase the liberation of these fat-stored xenobiotics (“toxins” from this point forward) via niacin-induced rebound lipolysis by 3 times over normal lipolysis. [I explain this unique property of flushing niacin in videos, on my website, or personally during complimentary Zoom consultations.]

Using aerobic exercise, these toxins are then mobilized through interstitial fluids/blood plasma and circulation out to the dermis layers where they may be sweated out in sauna through the sebaceous sweat. This is oily/lipid sebum produced by the sebaceous glands attached, mostly, to hair follicles that when heated by sauna, becomes fluid and excreted with sweat. Lipophilic xenobiotics are attracted to this sebum [and are hydrophobic to watery, eccrine sweat], so they’re primarily eliminated using the largest detox organ of the body, skin.

In a presentation at the Biological Medicine 2012 Conference hosted by the Klinghardt Academy in New York City, Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt reported on a study he conducted to find just how dramatic the difference in detoxification is between conventional and infrared saunas.  Dr. Klinghardt, who is considered an authority on the subject of environmental toxicity and its connection with chronic infections, illness and pain, said lab results showed that the sweat of people using a conventional sauna was 95-97 percent water while the sweat of those using an infrared thermal system was 80-85 percent water.  The remaining 15-20 percent non-water portion is [sebaceous] sweat  containing cholesterol, fat soluble toxins, toxic heavy metals, sulfuric acid, sodium, ammonia, and uric acid.

Toxins that are not excreted in this sebaceous sweat may be picked up by binders, such as activated charcoal, micronized zeolite, Bentonite clay, Enterosgel, or the like. Some toxins will undergo enterohepatic recirculation and then get rejected again, so this is why our Protocol is done over many days.

While this is not a complete explanation of how our Protocol is performed, I hope this resolves in your mind why the article is valid, and why our Detoxination® [DETOXification + decontamINATION] has the approval of the California Medical Board, over 30 years of clinical experience, and more than 25 published studies to validate it.
