This page provides access to selected published studies, conference presentations, educational references, and historical projects associated with sauna-based detoxification concepts, toxicant elimination research, sweat physiology, environmental exposures, and related wellness-support discussions.
Important Context
The studies, presentations, and educational references listed throughout this page are provided for educational and informational purposes.
Inclusion of published studies, historical projects, conference materials, or educational references does not imply universal scientific consensus regarding all detoxification methodologies, protocols, or wellness applications.
Detoxination® educational materials are intended to support research-informed wellness education, practitioner learning, and broader environmental wellness awareness.
Early PCB Research, Occupational Medicine & Detoxification Foundations
Early occupational medicine research involving PCB-exposed capacitor workers helped reveal important toxicological concepts surrounding fat-stored xenobiotics, serum-versus-adipose toxicant distribution, bioaccumulation, and detoxification-related physiology.
These studies contributed to broader scientific discussions regarding long-term toxicant storage within human tissue and the limitations of relying solely upon serum testing to evaluate accumulated toxicant burden.
This foundational work ultimately helped shape later detoxification research, environmental wellness initiatives, occupational exposure projects, and broader sauna-based detoxification education.
